The acronym "SLK" means "Student Leadership Circle". The SLK consists of student leaders from cities across all of Austria, who are gathering each semester to be equipped and have fellowship. Moreover, the SLK decides on strategic decisions and plans on Austrian-wide events. We welcome student leaders as well as students interested in becoming a leader!

The case of drugs – our society's means of escape?

The lecture will introduce new and old drugs – what they can do, how they harm, what ‘paradises’ one can expect from them, and what alternatives there are. Followed by discussion.

Mag. Christian Pichler has been invited to speak about environmental protection. He is a forester and subsequently studied teaching. After several years as head of the ÖSM Christians at university, he now works for the worldwide student movement IFES in the European region. He lives with his family in Innsbruck.

Student Kickoff Weekend – ÖSM Vienna

Autumn is here – time to start the new semester together!
We warmly invite you to the ÖSM Vienna Kickoff Weekend (for all groups) – three days of community, depth, and new beginnings in the beautiful Waldviertel.

Mission week will take place again this year in Salzburg. This year in a different format, but with the same vision. Invite friends so they can get to know Jesus, ask questions, and become curious about the Christian faith. Several events are planned. We will also be out and about in Salzburg to talk to people and share hope.

Let's talk about it! Why scientific proofs of God's existence (don't) convince me! Two physicists in conversation

Do scientific evidence and the natural sciences point to God? Can proofs of God's existence be convincing? Or do these clues mislead us and leave questions about God's existence unanswered? Dr Alexander Fink, biophysicist and director of the Institute for Faith and Science, and Roland Stinauer, physics teacher who wrote his master's thesis on ‘Philosophical arguments for the existence of the Christian God’, will discuss these questions and answer questions from the audience.
