Looking back Staff Klausur

In mid-September, the ÖSM staff team gathered for our annual retreat on an alpine hut – and those days truly felt like a gift. Surrounded by mountains and fresh air, we had time to grow together as a team, gain new inspiration, and prepare for the year ahead.

A highlight was welcoming our new interns: Stefan, Isabelle, and Matthieu. Stefan shared enthusiastically: “It was such a great time to join the team and get to know everyone.”

We spent time reflecting on our team values and how we want to work together. With the timeline method, we got to know each other’s stories in a deeper way, which was both fun and moving. Of course, there was also plenty of laughter, games, and good conversations while hiking.

Alongside planning and setting vision for the upcoming student ministry, we especially wanted to be strengthened spiritually. Through prayer together and Bible study in the first chapters of Acts, we refocused on God’s calling. This time encouraged and equipped us to enter the new academic year with joy and confidence.

We are thankful for these days together and look forward to sharing what we received with students on campuses across the country!
